What is GRYVENPUFSLY?

Gryvenpufsly is an interactive Role Playing community wherein you will create your own character/s to interact with other members of the board. Gryvenpufsly offers a lot of ways to communicate and interact with other members around the world.

What is Role Playing?

Role Playing is acting a character according to your free will and based on the character's description. It is a way of acting to interact with others. It may be done in first person or third person.

How to Join Gryvenpufsly?

To Join on Gryvenpufsly, you must first register in the forum and be sorted so you will be able to Role Play freely around. Registration is completely free so no worries.

Starting your Account

To start your account, you must register in Grvenpufsly Zeta Forum. After Registration, you make atleast one post to earn the Witch/Wizard status to be able to see the other parts of the board. Then, you can make your character and start Role Playing.

Forum Registration

To register, you must go to Register. Fill up the required informations and submit it. Validation is required to other IP Address, you will receive an e-mail from the board about your validating account.

Character Creation

To access all the wonderful things the board has to offer, we just ask that you fill out a form that gives the details of your character so that we may get to understand it better and maybe even get to know you better!
To see the rules of Plotting a chracter use this, Plotting Your Character, and to find a template for creating your character use this, Creating Your Character Now all you have to do is wait for the wonderful admin to kindly approve your character, if the dont approve it they will give you a reason and might ask you to make some part of it more detailed. But once it is approved you are ready to start RP'ing.

Character References

Members are allowed to have student or adult characters. It is their choice. They can even have multiple characters. At least 5 characters.

Student Characters

As a student, you get the opportunity to take part in the awesome classes that have been set up by our staff. You will need to sign up to see this feature. In these classes you will hopefully learn more about the Magical world and everything that is in it. Student Characters are sorted in a House. Students are allowed to Role Play only inside the Hogwart's Castle and their houses, if they have one.

Adult Characters

As an adult, you need to take part with the wider community. You will have a privilege to acquire professions you desire. Different Professions are offered. Look further at our F.A.Q.s. That way, your character will be able to earn money and even buy a House of his/her own.

Multiple Characters

Members are allowed to create multiple characters. Multiple characters are allowed as long as the members will keep every character active in the field. They can create students and adult characters.

Class Points

Class Points can be earned by attending classes regularly, submitting homeworks, taking exams, and doing good deeds in the school.

Clubs/Teams

Clubs/Teams can be done and formed by any member with admin/headmaster's approval. Members can join clubs. They must have attain the requirements of the clubs before joining.

Money/Galleons

The currency used in Gryvenpufsly is Galleons. Galleons can be earned by posting in Role Playing Threads and by having a profession and earning salaries.

Professions

Professions are jobs available after graduating in Hogwarts and other Academies. There are Professions like Auror, Healer, Spell Maker, Potion Brewer, Professor and other more. There are different salaries depends on the profession taken.

The Dark Times

The Dark Times is a forum offered by the Gryvenpufsly. It is set 60 years after the Gryvenpufsly timeline. A Battle Role Playing Forum.

Teams

There are 2 selectable teams in The Dark Times. The League of Secret Keepers(LOSK) and The Dark Order (TDO)

League of Secret Keepers

A group of good citizens of the Wizarding community. Known as defenders of truth and justice. Due to the uprising over the community, this league was formed. The consists of Aurors, Healers and Unspeakables. Leading their way to defend the Ministry, they will conquer the dark side whatever it takes.

The Dark Order

The rebellious group that is against the Ministry of Magic and the Minister's way. Hunting every good man and bringing them down to make the Ministry suffer and lose its power slowly but surely. It is rumored to be formed by a former Death Eater. Making their way to gain and to control the power over the Ministry, they will kill for their glory. They are consist of Animus Edo, Dark Healers and Atrum Reputo.

The Oracles

They are also known as Gods or Gift Bearers. Oracle is a group of people with a blood of God. They can give or remove gifts.

Divisions

There are three Divisions in every team. An Attacker, Healer and Tactician. Auror and Atrum Reputo are the full pledge warriors who can do instant kills using spells and weapons. They can't heal themselves. Healers and Dark Healers are support. They use potions to heal or to inflict those who are near them. Unspeakable and Animus Edo are the tacticians of the teams. They are the makers of spells, potions and others.

Birthgrants

Birth grants are innate powers which may be inherited from your ancestors or bestowed upon you by nature. Most of the birth grants are offensive in character, though some have deceptive and regenerative characteristics. They are unique to each team, except, perhaps for the Veela Grant, which is present on both teams. As you advance level, your birth grant becomes more powerful and superior. Each wizard are only allowed to have one birth grant. So choose carefully for you could never change what you have already chosen.

Gifts

Gifts are supernatural abilities that are represented by invisible marks tattooed on specific body parts of a wizard. These marks become visible when in use. If the user is a trainee, his mark manifests itself just like an ordinary tattoo. While the marks of 3rd Class wizards glow red and that of 2nd Class wizards glow blue. Marks of 1st Class wizards, on the other hand glow white.

How to Join The Dark Times

Create a character. Use this TDT Character Creation. Choose a Team, Division, Birthgrant and a Gift. Then create a thread and post your character's profile.
